Winemaking: Harvesting with plot-by-plot selection of smaller, thick-skinned bunches of Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet. Fermentation in small vats, with individual mechanical treading for gentle extraction, interrupted by the addition of grape spirit at 77%, preserving the grape's natural freshness and concentration. Remains in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.

Ageing: 6 years in used French oak barrels.
