Product Description:

Cartuxa Tinto Reserva 2020 is a DOC Alentejo–Évora wine from the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation.

Note on the technical sheet and vintage: This description is based on the latest technical sheet provided by the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation, concerning the 2019 vintage. The technical data presented refer to that sheet and may differ from those of the advertised vintage. The vintage available for sale is the one indicated in the title and in the “Vintage” field (2020), subject to the stock batch. If in doubt, contact us before purchase to confirm it.

The grape varieties fermented separately in stainless steel vats and French oak vats at 27 °C, with a 15-day maceration. The wine aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels and 48 months in bottle.

Analytical data: alcohol 15%; total acidity 5.7 g/l; pH 3.56; total sugars 1 g/l. Serve between 16 °C and 18 °C.

750 ml bottle. Winemaking: Pedro Baptista and Duarte Lopes.
