Product Description:

Vidigueira Members' Choice Red DOC

Vidigueira Members' Choice Red was made from a selection of traditional grape varieties: Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Touriga Nacional.

A garnet-coloured wine with aromas of stewed dark fruit, truffles, a subtle spiciness and a touch of vegetal notes. Well integrated with hints of vanilla from ageing in oak barrels. Robust on the palate, with firm tannins that lend it a long, persistent finish.

Winemaking - Mixed fermentation, in a traditional stone trough with mechanical treading and in small vats at a controlled temperature of 26º.

This wine is a tribute to all the members of the winery for their work preserving the millennia-old heritage of vineyards and wine in the region.
